Our headboards will attach to your existing metal frame, you are responsible for drilling holes to attach to your headboard.

You will have a 5" clearance under the side rails, you can choose the add on raise side-rails option to raise side-rails an extra 8"-This is recommended when NOT using a box spring.  You'll want to get your own plywood to set ON TOP of our mattress supports.
