We require that you pick up all furniture within one week of the scheduled date*. We highly recommend bringing extra help to load heavy objects when picking up at the Milaca location. All customers must provide their own blankets, cardboard or plastic to protect furniture in transit.
* Due to limited storage space, fees will be applied to your order if left for extended periods of time.
Twist of Nature will deliver furniture within 100 miles of our locations in Princeton or Milaca. These deliveries will be individually quoted; please contact us for details.
Shipping & Damage
Free Shipping Offer - Twist of Nature will pay for standard delivery by freight truck, curbside for serviceable addresses in the 48 lower US States. Please contact us for shipping to Canada, Alaska or Hawaii. Extra charges for liftgate delivery and residential delivery may apply.
Free FedEx - We ship products via FedEx when the ordered products are within their size and weight limits. If the ordered products are outside of FedEx size and weight limits then we will ship your order via truck freight. You can expect to have your purchase delivered in 2-5 business days if shipping with FedEx.
Free Freight Truck deliveries are Tailgate Delivery, curbside (bottom of driveway). If the delivery address specified cannot be reached by an 18 wheeler or requires additional fees and/or services, you must either provide an alternate delivery address and pay the reconsignment fee or arrange to meet the truck and receive the order at another location. (Certain locations/ addresses do not permit 18 wheelers, if a dock truck delivery is required, an additional delivery fee will apply.) You will be responsible to get your items to the ground from out of the truck and bring items indoors. Log furniture is heavy and cumbersome. We highly recommend adding liftgate service to any order with larger sized items. Be sure to have help unloading and carrying, as it is not the freight company’s or drivers responsibility to move your furniture. Be sure to inspect all items delivered before signing and note damage or missing items on the delivery receipt. If no comment is made on the delivery receipt you sign, you will be accepting the delivery as complete and undamaged unless noted on the delivery slip. Do not refuse delivery, that will void our free shipping agreement and all shipping fees will apply. We only authorize and agree to pay for delivery to you. Once shipped, delivery is normally 7-10 workdays.

When your order arrives, you must thoroughly inspect the furniture for any shipping damage (cracking and checking in logs is not damage) prior to signing the delivery company's release form. If damage is not noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery, there is no recourse. Where you sign the form states "Received in good condition" and it must be done before the truck leaves. The shipping company is responsible for all damage incurred, not us. Take pictures and email them to us so we can build replacements. If you find damage when you receive your furniture, accept the delivery – DO NOT REFUSE IT. If you refuse delivery, you will be charged for that delivery plus redelivery of your items.
